I was recommended Dunlop wellingtons by an acquaintance and I am delighted with them. My old ones were very heavy and I was reluctant to wear them except in snow, but these are a good fit and the warm lining means I don't need the thick socks. As a dog owner I need to go walking in all weathers and it has been a very wet autumn and winter. These wellingtons are just the job!

Bought a pair December 2023 and on using for 4 trips they were the most comfortable welly I have ever used. Plus the warmest. However on trip 5 they leaked. I was gutted but the shop (shoezone) exchanged them without hassle. But, this replacement pair only lasted 3 outings before leaking and the inner linner holed. Reading other reviews on line it looks like a common issue so will now be taking the second pair back for a full refund.

This is my second pair of the same wellies, that's how happy I am with them. Great bendy material that doesn't easily brake when you walk through sticks inside the woods. The fur inside keeps you warm and the adjustments make sure it is enclosed around your tights and no water gets in. I used to wear them a lot as a dog walker. The only reason I am buying new once is because the fur inside broke on my heal and it was starting to get tricky and annoying to get out of the shoes. They seem to know that that was an issue as the new pair has a different lining around the heal area so improvement and I have also noticed that they previous pair the shoe was a bit wider so I had to wear a bit thicker long socks if I wore short socks they kept coming off, the new pair seems to be a bit slender fitting nicely around my foot, so no issue with slipping socks overall feels better. Due to the fur style lining it's a tight fit and this means that wearing two pairs of socks or thick alpaca socks will not be possible. Perhaps a half size bigger is a consideration for wearing in really cold weather to allow for thick socks. Also the left and right heel lining has not been cut and stitched exactly the same and actually felt quite different when being worn. Perhaps this is down to the machinist having an off day. I have over the years purchased just 4 pairs of this type of boot. The first pair was purchased around 1985. It was a solid investment as I wore them in the mud and cold constantly. The interior would get a little damp back then as they were being worn 12 hours a day for a week at a time. They eventually wore out after a couple of years of constant abuse. I would not have been without them. If they they had come with a sheepskin lining I'd have bought them. The current iteration is a synthetic lining that became more comfortable after being worn once. The boots are both a snug and a tight fit. There is a very good chance that, had I tried them first, then I would not have bought my exact shoe size. The boots coped easily with their first outing fording two streams twice, mud, leaves, ancient temperate rainforest and undulating terrain. In that respect they exceeded expectations. The boots shed the muck even before getting back into the car and only required a quick exterior rinse. Yet another sound investment. I'd like to see the addition of a memory foam interior sole for additional comfort.

These are, by far, the best walking wellies on the market. I am a daily walker (with dog) and can go through 3 pairs of hiking boots in the time it takes me to wear out one pair of these wellies.
They are super comfortable but importantly, also seem to provide me with adequate support for my lengthy walks.
I can quite happily frolic about for 3 - 4 hours with absolutely no repercussions whatsoever. My feet remain dry, warm and comfortable.
You really could not go wrong with these boots.

Buying another pair as these are the best wellies ever!!! I’ve had mine for 8 years and am only buying more because the sole has worn down and they are now slippery but after 8 years I think that’s amazing! I frequently wear them all day in all weathers on all terrains as I do search and rescue. My feet are always warm and comfortable even in the -8 weather last December! They still look like new when I wash them. Just praying they have not changed and are still as good!

A.littlw disappointed if I'm honest, my feet are wet when I take them off... Not with water as I don't feel they leak, must be sweat with the fleecy lining... But they feel really damp inside, like they been dripped in? And sometimes, the next day, they still feel damp and I don't want to put my feet in them. Wouldn't buy them again. Not a patch on the profina ones.

This is the second pair for my daughter as she has grown out of the last pair. They are super warm with the fleece lining, they don’t slip in the mud and keep your feet toasty and dry.
