Tried these wellies as an alternative to my usual (expensive but very cosy) brand for yard use. Great fit, great grip in these mega mudfy times, feet cosy but legs cold, good price. Would give five stars if neoprene lining on leg was thicker - I wear leg warmers with mine. And perhaps the writing could go!!
Please, thicker neoprene on legs, an alternative colour and remove writing. I'll see how long they last before I commit to re-purchasing.

Good boot for winter on a construction site
David H.
Well designed and manufactured. Comfortable for long walks. Easily slipped on an off and secure, stable ankle fit. Thermal insulation is good. Good grip on all surfaces including icy pavements.

warm but new model seems a lot tighter round ankle

I have had these wellies almost a year now and there is a couple of things not great with them one they are tight around the ankle and tend to rub. If you wear jeans with them they are to tight on your legs and when you put your foot into the welly the sides are so soft they roll down in around your leg great when you in a hurry to get going , and lastly they are so narrow around the ankle if you wear waterproof leggings with them it doesn’t hold them up off the floor and you drag them around your heel all day! sorry not for me! Quality is ok though I’ve been hoping for a hole in the them since I’ve had them so I could send them back but I ve had to bite the bullet and order the old style one again

Really nice safety wellies and an excellent service from Dunlop. Thanks guys for the super speedy response!

Its just the right fit and what I needed for my job, cause I work in a muddy construction environment.

These wellies at £140 should be perfect.
They are warm and comfy to the soles of my feet, but the pain they cause on your ankle is unbearable, I’ve worn them 3 times all day hoping they might get better, but sadly I’ve had to give up on them. Disappointing for the price.

I’ve been wearing the old thermo boots for decades and was hesitant to try these. I wear these in very muddy conditions and the grip is good but not as good as the old type, however, these new ones are much easier to wear in the mud because of the sneaker fit and they feel much more like a normal boot. Much better insole too. If only Dunlop made waders with these boots attached.

Very comfortable on the whole. A bit sore to start at ankle but with some padding was ok.

I sent them back 2 weeks ago, tracked havent had any conformation or anything even though I payed for 1 day delivery, still haven't had my refund!
Christopher J.
Had them a few weeks and used them every day. They are warm and comfortable.

The last time I spent so much money on wellingtons was for Muck Boots, which were a total disappointment and lasted less than six weeks! I was hesitant to take another financial risk like that (for me, this is a lot of money). It makes more sense for me to buy cheap boots twice year than buy expensive ones every two months.
But, the cheap Dunlop boots were pretty good. They usually last a season, so I took the plunge and invested into boots that are 6-7 times more expensive than what I usually buy.
So far, they're really good - but it's only been a couple of weeks, so only time will tell whether that investment was a good one.
They are surprisingly light, considering that they have safety features and a HUGE sole. They work well in muddy paddocks, but (as I experienced just today) they aren't much better than others on icy surfaces, so I'd still put on crampons when icy conditions are forecast.

First wellies to keep my feet warm working in water
Victoria T.
Great welly but I had to buy the half size smaller. Note you only have 14 days to return items - I missed this so have a slightly too big spare pair!!
Janet P.
Really warm and nearly excellent wellies. The ankles are too tight.
Another 1cm would make all the difference. First week was painful, but I have stuck with them and they are getting better. Socks stay on and warm feet, that's what counts.

Ordered yesterday, nearly fell over when they arrived this morning!
Unbelievable level of service.
Boots are a significant improvement on the previous thermo ones in terms of comfort and fit, and the ability to walk normally.
They really do not slip or slide at the heel, they grip the foot and ankle beautifully and already I can assure you they are as comfortable as a sneaker (trainer).
Very good in slippery mud on a slight hill today, not even a chance of falling over.
Built like a tank too, will last for years.
Even though I got them in the current sale, they are actually good enough for the rrp £140 price tag.
I’m a Physiotherapist and my feet are 100% happy in these.
Well done Dunlop
