Sneaker Fit
WATERPROOF

These are the most comfortable wellies I’ve ever had. I’m 5’2” with wide calves and sparrow ankles. I know some comments are they are a bit short, but for me they are perfect.
The fit around the ankles means your foot doesn’t slide.
I walk up to 10miles a day in these and work on a farm, I’m on my second pair as I wore the soles out. These are the first wellies I’ve owned that haven’t split.

Bought these in August 2023. Used around the horse paddock and country dog walking. The sneaker fit around the ankle is very effective and in addition to improving comfort keep my socks in position. A hawthorn penetrated the sole in September but still watertight. These are my third pair of Dunlop and they have given good service over the years.
Negatives are: could be an inch or so higher and slimmer around the top. These tend to flap and when handling hay I end up with a boot full. My previous pair were Purofort Terroir pro which were slimmer and higher.

daughter loves them, she works outside with dogs and they are robust and comfortable

Purchased for granddaughter and she loves them

These are great wellies at a very reasonable price for the quality. The fit is excellent, they are comfortable, and they stand up to all types of terrain. I do miles dog walking in them in hilly Derbyshire - no complaints.
For any other women out there confused by the sizing (because a 7 in women's sizing is listed as a 40 but a 7 in men's is listed as 41, with 6.5 being 40), these are sized by the men's sizing, so a 7 ordered comes as a 41. That said, I'm normally a 40 and feel the 6.5 would have been a touch small.

Love these wellies , second pair I’ve brought, they’re comfortable and keep your feet warm.

Bought these to replace a generic set of wellies. Suspected the comfort in varying temperatures was nonsense, but they are spot on. Can take the dog out over the mountain in freezing temps with just a pair of cotton socks on and feet perfectly warm. Meanwhile they can also be worn on milder days with no overheating.
Marvellous

Speedy delivery, great fit, very comfortable, would definitely recommend.

Lovely wellingtons but they were too big. I ordered the next size down and they are fabulous. Will re-order.

I decided to try these wellies after owning various wellies that have all split within a year. These wellies are so comfortable and the material is really flexible and so I’m hoping they won’t split like my previous well known makes.

Extremely comfortable lightweight wellies that stand upto the British weather.

These wellies are light, warm and extremely comfortable, in fact the most comfortable footwear in my wardrobe at the moment.

Sent 2 left feet, returned and still waiting on refund. Very poor service

Having tried most of the leading name brands in the country pursuits, I’ve returned to trusty Dunlop. The longest serving pair of boots I’ve ever owned were a £15 pair of Dunlops. Top name £200+ boots have all split and been in the bin within 6 months and that’s four different manufacturers. Only had my new Dunlops a week but fit is snug in the heal as described so should stop premature heal wear and they don’t crease in the toe, so hopefully no splitting!

I had size 12 Dunlop/Dickies landmaster wellies for the last 13 years they've been fantastic for deerstalking in rough forestry and open hill. They'd started splitting at the top so I tried some more expensive Skellerup quattro wellies and they were horrible (bulky and heavy) so sent them back and got some size 13 fieldpro as I'm about a 12.5 (very wide feet). Very happy with these wellies. They're a good fit with thin socks but too tight for thick socks. I can put thinner insoles in if I need thick socks in winter. The toe box is very roomy. My socks don't slide down and they're very comfy for lots of walking. They're also lightweight and not too hot. Thank you Dunlop!

Very comfortable boots even for long walks across rough countryside terrain. I am a size 4 (37), true to size, fit well even with medium thickness socks on.

These Boots are way too small for a size 13 , I had to purchase a size 14 to fit me , up until metrication I was a size 12.

Great fit, light weight, comfortable

These are a snug fit around the heel which means you don't walk out of them in sticky mud. They're really comfortable too. The only challenge with them is that they require quite a bit of effort to get them off! I'll be buying the same again when these wear out though.

First time I've been able to buy boots (or shoes) with wide foot but narrow ankle. Fit really well. Great material and impressive thick sole. Very pleased and at a good price too. My dad always swore by Dunlops so I should have known they'd be great!

First time I’ve found a boot (or shoe!) with a wide enough foot but narrow ankle. Throughly delighted. Great quality and great price. Only one thing I don’t like is the Dunlop writing on the side. Maybe just a logo in future.

You ask for a review on a pair of brand NEW wellington boots. The last 2 pairs of Dunlop wellingtons bought sequentially lasted less than a year each before starting to leak, not good. So, if you want a review of the most recent purchase, come back to me in a years time, then 2 years time and I will gladly provide a REAL review. Until then and from my experience to date, only a 3 star rating. Absolutely no point in reviewing brand new boots. Hope these are better than the last 2 pairs of Dunlop boots. Please get your act together and improve your manufacturing quality, or is Dunlop still believing throwaway culture is good for the environment. Why do I keep buying Dunlop boots, in the hope they may improve and the fact that all other so called boot suppliers appear to have the same low life expectancy for profit reasons no doubt with the same leakage issues and also being far more expensive. Please note, Dunlop safety wellingtons I purchased back around 2003, lasted years but thrown away when no longer used, bring back the old days,

The boots are nice and wide at the toes, though a little tight around the ankles making it a little difficult to get the boots off. The soles are also thinner than I would have expected for a "professional" boot and thus less comfortable on rough ground, and probably less robust than I would expect for a professional boot.

After a hawthorn pierced my Purofort Islay wellies in the toe box I needed a replacement pair that wouldn't let water in. These looked to be the best suited now that the Islay appear to be discontinued. They are a comfortable fit, and feel well cushioned under foot. The three negatives for me are that they don't fit as nicely around the calf as they are more "floppy", they don't look as smart as the Islay and as the insoles appear to be different to those available as replacements, this could be a problem in the future.
Overall, I like them and they'll serve me for most intended uses, but I would have preferred the Islay to still be available as they for me, are a 5 star welly whereas these fall a little short. I will likely look to purchase an alternative for the more vigorous work I carry out.

Very comfortable and supportive. Good grip on soft, muddy ground. Recommended.

These are great! They are super comfortable, lightweight, snug round the ankle and spacious at the toe so they don't slip or rub and my toes don't get too cold. Also a good grip on the sole, I've been traversing steep muddy slopes with ease. Highly recommended welly!

A great fit, comfortable and reassuring to wear in all conditions.

I can't believe how comfy these are. I can walk in them for ages, great for wet ground, grippy and very lightweight. Fantastic.

Superb wellington, extremely light and comfortable and feels almost identical to rubber at the touch. My only small criticism (and it is small) is that the boot could do with being 2 inches (50mm) taller. A "tall" version would make it a 100% perfect wellington.
CLASSIC FIT VS SNEAKER FIT
WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE?
The classic fit work boot is designed to give you that trusted Dunlop reliability and protection with ample space for all day comfort in any environment.
The sneaker fit eliminates heal slippage to lock in your foot for all day comfort and safety in every step.
