Forget all those fancy "names" Wellington Boots. Dunlop offer a range of proper boots which do the job and last for years. I chose the calf length option as I have rather thicker legs than I used to and they fit well. They are also roomy as I would hope so that thick socks are an option. I also invested in an insert to increase comfort and reduce chill factor - very effective on both counts. Marvellous value for money.

Bought these for working at my allotment. I am using them with a lambswool insole and wear thick socks, the sizing accommodates the thicker sock and inse for warmth. Perfect for me, non slip, comfortable, not too bulky, calf length is easy to get on and off. Love these.

Come on Dunlop, you can do better than this. The quality is not as good as it used to be. The fabric is thinner, so I hope they don't split like other makes I have had in recent years. .
They are so cold to wear even with thick socks and its not winter yet.
